“The Old Folks” tells the story of Daisy, a young woman who gets caught up in a dangerous plan to steal from her beloved employers and retired civil rights activists, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper.
Desperate to get custody of her daughter back, Daisy agrees to take part in a heist but things quickly spiral out of control when the Coopers arrive home earlier than expected and are taken hostage by Daisy’s ex-con and political extremist boyfriend, Buster, and his accomplices.
Trapped between loyalty to her boyfriend and her deep affection for the Coopers, Daisy is forced to confront the dire repercussions of her choices.
